KARACHI: PTCL to upgrade exchanges

KARACHI, April 24: The Pakistan Telecommunication Corporation Limited (PTCL) has planned to upgrade its system for providing better service to its valued customers. The PTCL, in an announcement on Sunday, informed its customers of possible interruption in telephone traffic due to technical reasons between 11pm to 12 midnight at different exchanges throughout the city on various days.

The PTCL schedule includes work on April 25 at the Clifton exchange, on April 26 at the Nazimabad exchange, on April 27 at the Malir exchange, on April 28 at the DHA exchange, on April 29 at the West Wharf exchange, and on April 30 at the Central telephone exchange.

Similarly, work will be carried out on May 1 at the PECHS telephone exchange, on May 2 at the Azizabad exchange, on May 3 at the CTH telephone exchange, on May 4 at the Cantonment exchange, on May 5 at the Gulistan-i-Jauhar exchange, and May 6 at the Korangi telephone exchange.
