LAHORE, April 19: Dhruvpal Godara slammed five goals and Taimur Ali Malik struck four to guide Guard Filters to a 11-5 ½ win over Adisseo in the cup polo event on Tuesday. Adisseo, with a 1 ½ goal handicap started the game by surging ahead in the opening chukker striking two goals one each by Abdul Haye Mehta and Usman Haye. Godara opened the account for GF in the same chukker making it 1-3 1/2.

GF helped by Godara ended the second chukker with a 4-4 ½. Godara dominated with two goals and Taimur added one with Adisseo’s Junaid Ahmad producing their third goal.

Godara added two more goals before Taimur scored in the beginning of the third chukker. Junaid scored Adisseo’s fourth and and last goal.

GF dominated the fourth chukker the all time leaders of the fourth chukker in which Javed Mawaz Khan and Taimur struck two goals apiece leading their side to a wide margin victory.—APP
