HYDERABAD May 31: Activists of Insan Dost Tehrik staged a protest demonstration outside the press club here on Friday against the inefficiency and corrupt practices of the Hesco officials.

Addressing the rally, the chairman of the Tehrik, Naeem Noorani, general secretary, Jabbar Noori, Dr Younus Danish and others lamented that the one-window customers service, introduced to deal with public complaints, had been converted into a ‘window of corruption’.

They said that due to price hike, it had become difficult for common man to arrange even two square meals but Hesco, by issuing detection bills, had made people’s lives miserable.

In the sacred month of Rabi-ul-Awal, they said, Hesco had resorted to loadshedding which deprived the people of water even for drinking purpose.
