OKARA, April 14: A man along with his accomplices shot dead his sister and her husband on Wednesday night over a love marriage issue in Chak 2/1-L. Nazia Bibi of Fatiana village had gone to her uncle’s house Chak 2/1-L some time ago. During her stay there, she allegedly developed relations with the youth of the area. Later, she eloped with her lover Munawar and contracted marriage with him. Her brother Musa was opposed to this marriage.

On Wednesday night, Munawar along with his wife came to the village to collect some household articles. Somehow, Musa came to know about their arrival in the village. Seizing an opportunity, Musa along with his accomplice overpowered the couple when they were going back to their village and shot them dead.
