Inter-town softball

KARACHI, April 11: The TMA Saddar Inter-town softball Championship will be held under the auspices of Saddar Town from April 15, Sindh Softball Association (SSBA) announced on Monday. This was decided at the Executive Committee Meeting of SSFA on Sunday under president, Pakistan Softball Federation Muhammad Saleem Khan.

Majority of the town teams will be featuring in the two-day competition.

The basic purpose of conducting this event was to introduce the sport in the city.

The event will also be launched in schools and at the club level.

During the meeting new office-bearers of SSBA were also announced.

Abdullah Abdul Rahim Baloch and Sabir Yaqoob were elected as the president and secretary.

Others elected were Asif Azeem (joint secretary) and M.H. Dars (finance secretary).—APP
