Demolition of temple continues

VEHARI, April 11: The boundary wall and main gate of the temple were demolished on Monday. The other parts of the building, including a dozen of rooms, had already been demolished. When contacted, Evacuee Property Trust Board, Multan zone, administrator Chaudhry Javed Bashir told this correspondent that they would renovate the tower of the temple after completion of commercial market. Vehari DCO Muhammad Ayub Qazi said the district administration was not authorized to stop demolition because after the intervention of the revenue board, this is the subject of the central government.
