KARACHI, April 11: The Sindh Education department has prescribed the fee of registration for privately managed educational institutions in the province. A government notification said that the registration of educational institutions would be initially made for a period of three years. The registration fees for different categories of schools are as follows; Urban; Montessori and oriental studies-Rs1,000, technical, vocational, commercial and information technology institutions-Rs2,000 , higher secondary schools/colleges, teachers’ training institutions or any other institutions of the same level-Rs5,000, institutions of ‘O’ and ‘A’ level- Rs10,000, degree awarding institutes and universities, including institutions having academic linkage/foreign collaboration/ affiliation with any other institutions of higher learning-Rs15,000.

Rural; Montessori and oriental studies-Rs500, technical, vocational, commercial and information technology institutions-Rs1,000, higher secondary schools/colleges, teachers training institutions or any other institutions of the same level-Rs2,000, institutions of ‘O’ and ‘A’ level-Rs10,000, degree awarding institutes and universities, including institutions having academic linkage/foreign collaboration/ affiliation with any other institutions of higher learning-Rs10,000.
