SIALKOT, April 8: The district government on Friday dismissed an assistant education officer (AEO) and a union council learning coordinator (LC), Sabz Pir, for their involvement in fake recruitments of primary teachers.

EDO (Education) Dr Saifullah Chattha told reporters that two increments of clerk Muhammad Munawar had also been stopped owing to his involvement in this scam.

Earlier, AEO Muhammad Azam and LC Nasir Ahmad Rahi had been suspended from their service in the same case. However, a high-level inquiry later substantiated the charges against them.
