Habib Bank in strong position

KARACHI, Oct 28: Habib Bank ended the second day of their Patron’s Trophy Grade-I tie against National Bank in a strong position at Sheikhupura Stadium Sunday.

On a day curtailed by poor weather, Habib Bank reached 118 for two after National Bank’s last wicket had fallen with only 14 added to Saturday’s tally of 251 for nine, says a message received here.

Asadullah Butt claimed National Bank skipper Mushtaq Ahmed’s scalp to finish with excellent return of four for 10 in 7.1 overs.

Saleem Elahi led HBL reply with an undefeated knock of 63 off 99 deliveries, including 11 fours.
