KARACHI, April 4: A fine teamwork inspired KRL to a four-wicket victory over defending Patron’s Cup champions Habib Bank in the Pool ‘B’ fixture at the KRL Stadium in Rawalpindi on Monday. Wicket-keeper Shahbaz Butt led the way with 81 off 68 balls while dominating a match-winning partnership of 90 with Intikhab Alam (42 off 45 balls) after KRL had lost six wickets for 214 in pursuit of a target of 300. But Shahbaz, who hit eight fours and two sixes, denied the bankers their second win in two days.
