Kashif shines in defeat

KARACHI, April 3: Pace bowler Kashif Raza claimed four for 47, but his efforts failed to save Wapda from a 25-run defeat against PTCL in the Patron’s Cup Pool ‘A’ one-day fixture at the Niaz Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday. Sent into bat, PTCL made 266 with half-centuries by Naved Latif (69 off 72 balls, five fours and two sixes) and Shahzad Malik (63 off 59 balls, four fours).

Wapda, in reply, were bowled out for 241 in the 48th over.
