Imran Farhat to lead Bankers

LAHORE, April 1: Test opener Imran Farhat will lead Habib Bank in the Patron’s Trophy one-day cricket competition commencing at different venues from Sunday.

The team has also been boosted by the return of another Test opener Taufeeq Umar from the just concluded Test series against India.

Imran Farhat (captain), Riffatullah, Taufeeq Umar, Aftab Alam Khan, Farhan Adil, Khaqan Arsal Raja, Farhan Iqbal (wicket-keeper), Fahad Masood, Sajid Shah, Waqas Chughtai, Abdul Rehman, Suleman Qadir, Asadullah Butt, Irfan Fazil.

Former Test bowler Liaqat Ali has been named as the manager while ex-Test all rounder Akram Raza will be the coach.—APP
