QUETTA, March 31: The motorcade of Balochistan Governor Owais Ahmed Ghani came under attack when he was returning back to Quetta from Pishin on Thursday. Sources said that the windscreen of the official vehicle of Provincial Information Minister Maulana Matiullah, who accompanied the governor, was broken and two persons travelling with him were injured when a group of strikers pelted the motorcade with stones. However, the governor and the information minister escaped unhurt in the attack that took place in Pishin. The governor had travelled to Pishin to attend the inauguration ceremony of the Virtual University campus. He was on his way back to Quetta when striking workers of the Pakistan Oppressed Nations Movement attacked his convoy.
