QUETTA, March 27: The Baloch National Movement and Baloch Students? Organization have condemned the arrest of BSO chairman Dr Imdad Baloch and three leaders from Karachi and warned the government that such acts would worsen the Balochistan situation. The BNM and BSO members, including women and children, staged a demonstration in front of the press club on Sunday.

BNM leaders Mir Qadir Baloch, Mir Shah Zaman Marri, Shiekh Latif and BSO secretary-general Saeed Yousuf Baloch addressed the protesters. They condemned the army action and excesses committed by the law-enforcement agencies in Dera Bugti, Gwadar, Turbat, Khuzdar, Marri camp and Killi Qamrani.

The speakers said that the dispute was not between Islamabad and three Baloch Sardars, but the tussle was between oppressors and oppressed Baloch people. They said that if atrocities were not stopped then the Baloch people would have no other option but to take extreme step and that would harm the solidarity of the federation.?Correspondent
