KOHAT: Rs9 million for library

KOHAT, May 30: The district government will spend Rs nine million on the purchase of text books, furniture, establishment of a civil club and provision of indoor games at the Commissioner’s House, which has been declared as Jinnah Library.

In the first phase, books on every subject would be purchased, besides provision of furniture with an estimated cost of Rs four million. Later, an extra amount of Rs five million for providing sport facilities would be released.

The building, located in Kohat Cant, was lying abandoned after the abolition of the posts of the deputy commissioners and commissioners and the introduction of local government.
