ISLAMABAD, March 21: The UNHCR voluntary repatriation programme will temporarily be suspended in Pakistan on Wednesday due to the official holiday. Afghan refugees, seeking UNHCR assistance to return to Afghanistan, should not approach the UNHCR registration & departure centres until they reopen on Thursday. The centres include Islamabad registration in I-11, Old Bata Warehouse, Islamabad, Iris Validation Centres at Hayatabad, Peshawar, Alizai in Kurram Agency and the departure centres in Peshawar; Quetta scheduling centres in Khilji Colony, Sabzal Road and Ghousabad Satellite Town and UNHCR pre-registration centres in Karachi.
