KARACHI, March 19: United Bank booked their place in the semifinals of the Patron’s Trophy Grade-II tournament from Pool ‘A’ with a nine-wicket win over SSGPL at the UBL Sports Complex on Saturday.

After being bundled out for 126 in the first innings, SSGPL made 366 in their second outing. Sufyan Ali claimed for 81 in 20.4 overs while fellow pacer Arun Lal took three for 89 to end with match haul of nine for 129.

Needing 96, the bankers reached the target for the loss of one wicket.

Meanwhile, Shahid Qambrani scored 111 as the game between DFML and KESC ended in a draw at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium.
