KARACHI, March 14: The Joint Doctors’ Action Committee has expressed dissatisfaction over conviction of Dr Waheed by an anti-terrorism court on Monday.

In a statement, the organizers of the action committee said that the decision in the case of Dr Arshad Waheed and Dr Akmal Waheed gives one to understand that the trial court was allegedly under the influence of government machinery.

Sher Shah Syed, Dr Misbahul Aziz and Dr Rasool Bakshs said the ATC also violated an SHC order pertaining to grant of bail to two doctors. They urged the chief justice to take notice of the situation.
