Karo-kari: woman, man shot dead

SHIKARPUR, March 13: A man and a woman were killed on the pretext of karo-kari by their relatives in the Rakhyal-Ji-Wandh village, Garhi Yasin, here on Sunday morning.

Panjal Shar, with the help of his sons, Rustam Sohbat, Gindal, Aitabar, Aziz, Liaquat and Ali Bux, allegedly shot dead his brother-in-law, Malikdad Shar, 36, while he was going to the Azizullah village.

The accused later shot dead Najeeban, 28, wife of Ameen Shar, in her house.

The Garhi Yasin police registered a case against the accused on the complaint of Farida, wife of Malikdad.

Our Sukkur correspondent adds: A woman was shot dead by her husband over some domestic dispute in the Ghar Pehanja village, Humayoon police station jurisdiction, Shikarpur, on Saturday night.

After an exchange of hot words, Hazoor Bux Domki allegedly killed his wife, Bashiran.

Hafeezan, sister of the deceased, lodged a case against Domki.
