RAWALPINDI, Feb 28: The tehsil assembly here on Monday held the motorway police and the principal of the school responsible for Sunday's traffic accident on motorway which claimed the lives of at least seven students and injured 57 others.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi visited the Pims and inquired about the condition of the students injured in the accident. The CM said Rs100,000 would be given to the heirs of each child who lost his life, and Rs50,000 to each injured student.

INQUIRY: Communications minister said an inquiry committee had been constituted to probe into the accident. -APP
