KARACHI, Feb 24: Chairman PCB Adhoc Committee Shaharyar M. Khan declared on Thursday that he had no plan to contest the elections of the board after implementation of new constitution.

"Completing the new PCB constitution by end April would be our top most priority" PCB chief told reporters after PCB's four-hour meeting at National Stadium here. The Adhoc Committee meeting was also attended by Imtiaz Ahmed, Syed Ali Raza, Moin Afzal, Salim Altaf and Dr Nadeem Ashraf.

Shaharyar said the PCB patron had assigned him the responsibility as chairman Ad hoc Committee "but I am not very keen to contest the elections." "By June/July a new era in Pakistan cricket will start with the implementation of new PCB constitution. We will live to our commitment to complete PCB constitution by April 30" he added. -APP
