MANSEHRA, Feb 14: NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani visited the rain and snowfall-affected areas of Mansehra district on Sunday and assured people of his government's all-out help.

The chief minister went to the Kund Bala village in the Konsh valley where five people were killed and two others injured when their house had collapsed on Thursday. He also visited the affected areas in the Kohistan district and Bhoragmang valley.

Talking to various delegations here at the new circuit house, the chief minister said that the government was utilising all its resources to ensure a speedy relief operation.

He said the district nazim and the district coordination officer had been asked to purchase food items, tents, blankets, medicine and other essential items for the affected areas bill for which would be paid by the provincial government.
