KHAIRPUR, Feb 11: The district government has declared 417 processions, majalis and 28 places most sensitive; 39 others sensitive and 150 normal during Muharram , and has also asked the Sindh government to ban entry of 30 ulema in the district during the month.

The places declared most sensitive include the Panj Gulla Chowk, Chatti Chowk, Thalla Ali Raza Shah, Garhi Pul, Jind Wada Pir, Faiz Wah, Abu Baqr Machhi, Suk Wahan, Kolab Jial, Bhangoo Bihan, Khuhra, and Gambat.

Ten religious institutions - Jamia Hyderia Luqman, Hamdia, and Shamsul Huda; and 17 imambargahs, including Walo Alam, Anjuman Hyderi, Qasr-i-Hussaini, Imambargah Hashmia Luqman, and Imambargah Hussainia - have been declared sensitive.

Moreover, the district administration has recommended that the Sindh government ban entry of 30 ulema in the district during the period. They include Professor Abdul Hakim Solangi, Zakir Ghulam Shabbir Chandio, Syed Mushtaq Hussain Shah, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haqqani, Maulana Abdul Majeed, and Maulana Mohammad Yousuf. Sources in the district administration said that 7,500 policemen, 400 Rangers personnel and an army company will carry out security during the month.
