LAHORE, Feb 3: Fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar claimed on Thursday that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had neither sought any explanation from him nor he had been summoned by chairman Shaharyar M. Khan.

"I did nothing wrong for which I have to give an explanation. Some vested interests have launched a campaign against me," Shoaib told journalists. He claimed that he would be fit for the Indian tour and that he was suffering from hamstring in right leg when he left for the Australian tour.

He said that he was under the treatment of Dr Tauseef Razzaq with the permission of both the PCB and the team management. "I am easy with Dr Tauseef as he understands my fitness problem in better way," Shoaib stated.
