PERTH, Feb 2: Pakistan cricket captain Inzamamul Haq Wednesday said his side was looking forward to the best-of-three finals in tri Series against host Australia with some confidence.

"I know it's tough opposition but if we really work hard, play well, hopefully we perform well in the finals," he said. Pakistan clinched its place in the deciders with a 30-run victory over West Indies Tuesday in Perth.

Meanwhile, Windies skipper Brian Lara said he believes Pakistan has the talent to beat Australia in the finals of one-day triangular series, beginning on Friday at Melbourne. "The experience of Inzamam and Youhana and attacking nature of Afridi and Razzaq, it's very formidable," Lara said.

"I think they can chase very well. Hopefully if they get opportunity and put Australia under some pressure they can win this best-of-three final. "I don't think it's going to be one-sided". -PPI
