MUZAFFARABAD, Jan 17: Two men and two women were killed and nine others wounded when a passenger jeep they were travelling in veered off the road and fell into a ditch on Monday.

The jeep, AJK-2016, with 11 adults and two infant twins on board, was going to Bhedi from Patikka when it plunged some 100 feet down the road at around 2pm while negotiating a sharp turn near the Mandal village, 21km from here.

Vehicle's owner-driver Qazi Khurshid, conductor Qazi Maqbool Ahmed, Nasima, wife of Yaqoob, and Baggo, wife of Hamidullah, died on the spot. Other passengers were wounded and admitted to the Combined Military Hospital.
