DHAKA, Jan 14: Several hundred people from different walks of life attended a mass prayer session on Friday in the capital for the tsunami victims.

The Bangladesh Human Rights Coordination Council organised the prayer session in front of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban in the morning.

Apart from common people, representatives of 30 NGOs attended the prayer session. The Bikrampur Legal Aid Organisation executive director, AKM Abul Kashem, led the half-hour prayer session with AHM Noman, a member of the coordination council, in the chair.
