KOHAT: PPP leader attacked

KOHAT, Jan 13: Gunmen belonging to a rival group attacked the house of a local Pakistan People's Party leader with rockets and klashnikov firing in the jurisdiction of Saddar police station on Wednesday night.

Preliminary investigations revealed that six armed men fired several rockets at the house of Fareed Khan in Kalu China Banda at around 9.30pm and escaped. The inmates of the house remained unhurt. However, the boundary wall of the house was damaged.

On the complaint of Ghulam Qadir, the police conducted several raids and arrested councillor Munawar Khan. The complainant has nominated Mohammad Ali alias Madolo and his three unidentified accomplices in the FIR.
