ISLAMABAD, Jan 6: Seven more Pakistani pilgrims died in Saudi Arabia during the last couple of days, taking the death toll to 24, Secretary of Ministry of Religious Affairs, Vakil Ahmed Khan, said on Thursday.

The pilgrims had died of natural causes and were buried in Saudi Arabia by the Pakistan Haj Mission, he told the APP here.

The following are the details of the pilgrims who died from January 3 to January 5: Nazim Iqbal, Passport No.743568, Karachi; Faiz Mohammad, Passport No 702188, Peshawar; Nuzhat Iqbal, Passport No. 525596, Multan; Manzoor Ahmad, Passport No 433899, Karachi; Nazir Ahmad, Passport No 339400, Islamabad; Qudrat Ullah, Passport No 109203, Lahore; and Abida Firdous, Passport No. 157718, Lahore.

To a question, the secretary said that the Pakistan Medical Mission had attended 43,298 patients so far. More than 122 patients had been admitted to the mission's hospital, out of whom 82 were discharged. -APP
