Parliamentary secretaries

ISLAMABAD, Jan 5: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Wednesday urged parliamentary secretaries to be more proactive. He was talking to the newly appointed secretaries.

The prime minister directed them to work with devotion and serve as a bridge between parliament and their ministries. He asked them to understand the affairs of their ministries and represent them in parliament.

The parliamentary secretaries are: Abdul Qadir Samijho for tourism ministry, Syed Gulzar Sibtain for anti-narcotics division, Dr Firdous Aashiq Awan for cabinet division, Onaza Ehsan for women development, Riffat Amjad for social welfare, Makhdoom Basit Bukhari for establishment division, Dr Naseem Afridi for Safron and Khurshid Afgan for parliamentary Affairs. -APP
