LAHORE: Unauthorized use of flag cars

LAHORE, Dec 14: Many advisers, special secretaries and special assistants in the Punjab are unauthorizedly using flag cars despite clear-cut instructions from the federal and provincial governments.

Prominent among the alleged users of flag cars include MNA Kamil Ali Agha, Mowahid Husain, Dr Faeza Asghar and Dr Asghar. According to official sources, they are using flag cars despite the issuance of a notification by the chief secretary describing as to who can use the privilege according to the law.

Those who can use flag cars include the president, prime minister, Senate chairman and deputy chairman, National Assembly speaker, federal ministers, Supreme Court chief justice, governors, chief ministers and provincial ministers.
