ISLAMABAD, Nov 28: All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman Syed Ali Gilani has said that the Indian government's negative attitude is a big hurdle in the resolution of the Kashmir issue.

He said in a television interview that there was no let-up in Indian state terrorism in occupied Kashmir despite ongoing peace efforts between Pakistan and India. Replying to a question about Indian allegations of infiltration, he said occupying states always levelled such charges to link freedom struggles with terrorism.

He said that under the United Nations charter people fighting against occupation forces could not be called terrorists. In response to a question, he said the granting to the right to self-determination to the 13 million people living in held Kashmir so that they could decide about their future was the best possible solution to the Kashmir issue. He said Kashmiris should be included in the dialogue between Pakistan and India. -APP
