QUETTA, Nov 25: A tribal council will decide the fate of Ghulam Qadir Masoori Bugti, a former member of the Majlis-i-Shoora, who has requested the tribe's chief, Nawab Akbar Bugti, to pardon him and reached Dera Bugti with his companions to surrender.

Elders of various clans of the tribe, including Murad Pirozani Bugti, Mohammad Bakhsh Mondrani Bugti, Mir Haji Nuthani Bugti and Fazal Khan Shambani Bugti, told newsmen in Dera Bugti on Wednesday that Ghulam Qadir had been involved in anti-tribe activities and he had played a part in conspiracies against Nawab Bugti for many years.

"Ghulam Qadir Bugti has committed treason against the tribe and imposed a war on it with its enemy," they said. They said the case would be a tribal council of the Bugtis according to Baloch traditions.
