LAHORE, Nov 21: The PPP of Ms Benazir Bhutto will celebrate its 38th foundation day here on Nov 30, party's Lahore president Haji Azizur Rehman Chan said on Sunday.

He said the central leadership had directed the Lahore organization to host a meeting on the foundation day. The venue will be announced on Monday (today). Haji Chan presided over a meeting of the party's Lahore executive at his residence where Jehangir Badr, Qasim Zia, Khalid Kharal, Naveed Chaudhry, Munir Khan and Abdul Qadir Shaheen were also present.

Haji said the day would be celebrated in a befitting manner. Jehangir Badr said Ms Bhutto was the only leader of the party and all members had full confidence in her.

Qasim Zia cancelled the party's basic membership of Ghulam Mohayyuddin Butt following reports that President Musharraf had visited his residence. Qasim said Mr Butt had violated the party policy by allowing the general to visit his residence. The provincial executive of the PPP is scheduled to meet at the Faisal Town office on Monday (today).
