ISLAMABAD, Oct 12: The visiting British trade mission has shown interest in investing in telecom, infrastructure, solar energy, hotel industry and other small and medium enterprises in Pakistan.

The 24-member trade mission led by Asghar Chaudhary met Federal Minister for Commerce Humayun Akhtar Khan and Secretary Tasneem Noorani.

According to an official announcement, the members of the mission said the reality about Pakistan was much better than its image abroad. They said if infrastructure in Pakistan were improved the country could substantially attract foreign investment.
