MUZAFFARABAD, Oct 12: At least three people were killed and six others wounded, two of them seriously, when a gas cylinder exploded on Tuesday morning in a bakery in Khaigalla Bazaar near Rawalakot in Azad Kashmir , Commissioner Muzaffarabad Division Raja Manzoor Ahmed Kiyani said.

Mr Kiyani said that the gas cylinder to be used for baking the bakery items exploded at 6.15am, killing three people and injuring six others, Mr Kiyani said. Those killed in the blast have been identified as Ejaz, a resident of Jaglari district, Rashid, a resident of Kafal Garh in Bagh district, and Khalid, a resident of Hajira, Rawalakot district.

The wounded have been identified as Muhammad Rashid, Muhammad Aslam, Khan Muhammad, Imtiaz and Zakir. The sixth wounded man remained unidentified till our going to press. The injured have been admitted in the Combined Military Hospital, Rawalakot. -APP
