HYDERABAD, Oct 4: Sindh National Front chairman Mumtaz Ali Bhutto has said that the nationalist leaders of Sindh have done nothing except waging a war of words and have not been able to get a single of their demands accepted.

Speaking to the SNF workers at the circuit house here, he said that if the nationalist leaders did not unite on one platform, the people would never forgive them.

He said that nobody should have any apprehensions about leadership and added that his party would follow anyone who was in a position to lead the collective struggle. He said that the Greater Thal canal posed a major threat to Sindh in view of already prevailing acute shortage of water in the lower riparian province.

Mr Bhutto said that he would say the same thing which he had said three years back that the people of Sindh should observe protest at the Minar-i-Pakistan in Lahore. He, however, said that a caravan of at least 100,000 people should march towards Lahore otherwise the protest would be meaningless.

He called upon the Muttahida Qaumi Movement to lead the protest with the people of Karachi. SNF secretary-general Gul Mohammad Jakhrani, Ayub Shar, Wali Mohammad Janwari, Paryal Bughio and others were present on the occasion.
