KARACHI, Sept 24: The placement list of male candidates selected for admission to first year pre-medical classes in 50 colleges and higher secondary schools was released by the Centralized Admission Committee of the city government on Friday.

An official of the admission committee said that all the applicants have been listed for admissions. The candidates, who are not satisfied with their placement, have been advised to submit claim forms within a week.

According to the placement list, a total of 4,493 candidates, including 370 A-1 graders, 644 A-graders, 822 B-graders, 1,161 C- graders, 1,458 D-graders and 38 E-graders have been placed in different colleges.

Admissions to Adamjee Science College were closed at 729 marks while last year it closed at 723 marks. In case of D.J. Science College and Delhi College lists, the admissions were closed at 680 and 660 marks respectively while last year the cut- off marks in these two colleges were 690 and 662 respectively.
