UK increases number of student visas

ISLAMABAD, Sept 23: British High Commission (BHC) has increased the number of student visas for Pakistanis from 2,000 to 10,000 for the last two years.

This was stated by the British Deputy High Commissioner, Hamesh Denial while talking to a private channel on Thursday.

He said that British High Commission has initiated steps to enhance trade between the two countries. The cooperation between Britain and Pakistan has been accelerated in education and social development sectors, he added.

The high commissioner said that visiting 14-member British trade delegation, led by Michael Brosch will explore new investment opportunities in various sectors in Pakistan. -APP
