MINGORA, Sept 14: The inhabitants of Saidu Sharif have complained against the staff of Sui Northern Gas, Swat, for ignoring the officers colony in the supply of Sui gas and urged the federal minister for petroleum, natural resources, oil and gas to take notice of the situation.

The people of the officers colony in a joint statement here on Tuesday said that the colony being in the heart of the city should get the facility first, adding that the colony had been excluded from the list for unknown reasons, which was astonishing, they added.

They reminded that as a result of their hunger strike some months back the authorities had ordered digging the sites, but the gas was yet to be supplied. They said that their frequent visits to the offices of the Sui gas could not yield any positive result, and now they would have the only option to come to the streets in protest.
