SHIKARPUR, Sept 9: A man and a woman were killed on the pretext of Karo-kari in two different incidents. Sara, 20, was killed by her husband and his four brothers who had termed her a kari in Shah Ali Pahore village, Khanpur taluka on Wednesday.

Her body was brought to the Civil Hospital Shikarpur for post-mortem. Gulzar Pahore, the father of the woman, registered a case against Nawab Pahore, Mithal Pahore, Sahib Dino Pahore and Khair Mohammad Pahore at the Naparkot police station.

In the other incident, a man was shot dead in the Nappar village, Khanpur police station jurisdiction, Shikarpur, on Thursday. Rahim Bux Mirbahar was standing at a bus-stop on the Indus Highway when armed persons killed him. The Khanpur police station has registered a case.
