ISLAMABAD, Sept 8: Pakistan said on Wednesday that India "appeared serious" on the proposed laying of gas pipeline from Iran via Pakistan. Foreign Office spokesman Masood Khan told Iran's IRNA news agency here that India seemed serious in launching the three- nation gas pipeline project.
The spokesman reiterated Islamabad's stance to provide security for the pipeline, which could not be realized due to the tension between the two countries. -PPI
