KARACHI, Sept 8: Sindh Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Qamar Mansoor has blamed associations and federations for serious decline and destruction of various sports in the country.

He alleged that officials of those associations and federations were more inclined to foreign trips instead of focussing on the training, preparations and coaching of players, he told this while talking to various sports delegations on Wednesday.

Qamar called for evolving a system to make these officials accountable to the nation and alleged that funds given to the sports officials by the government to office-bearers of the associations and federations for foreign tours or go into their pockets. -APP
