KARACHI, May 23: Askani Brothers and Naka Mohammadan shocked fancied Sameen Club, Multan, and Hazara Mohammadan to reach semifinals of the All-Pakistan inter-club football tournament Thursday.

Askani Brothers toppled formidable Sameen Club, Multan, 3-1.

Striker Mohammad Riaz slammed in twice, while Mohammad Zaman scored the third. Saeed Qureshi netted the consolation goal.

In another quarterfinal, Naka Mohammadan defeated Hazara Muhammadan 7-6 on sudden death shootout.

Both teams could not score during the regulation time.
