WANA, Aug 30: The Gangikhel tribesmen in South Waziristan handed over a 14-year-old boy to political authorities on Monday for his suspected links with Al Qaeda.

Din Mohammad, son of Mahboob Khan Gangikhel, was wanted by the political authorities in Wana, officials said, adding that 18 more Gangikhels, a sub-tribe of Ahmadzai Wazirs, were on the wanted list for their suspected links with Al Qaeda.

Under an agreement reached with the local authorities on Aug 22, the Gangikhel tribe had pledged to deny sanctuary to militants and hand over wanted suspects to the administration. Meanwhile, three missiles were fired on Zhala Fort in Azam Warsak on Sunday. The fort is housing army troops.
