ISLAMABAD, Aug 29: The security forces have eliminated the hideouts of miscreants in Wana, Shakai and adjoining areas, ISPR Director-General Maj-Gen Shaukat Sultan said on Sunday.

Speaking to private television channels, he said miscreants indulged in subversive activities would be tackled with an iron hand.

The security forces had arranged surrender of miscreants through political process, he added. Replying to a question, Mr Sultan said that some miscreants had fired rockets at the camps of the security forces and injured a soldier. -APP
