QUETTA, Aug 18: The Baloch Students Organization, Aman, held a protest demonstration outside the press club here on Wednesday against what it called 'anti-Baloch' projects, the military operation , 'illegal' detention of political activists and registration of 'false' cases against nationalists.

The protesters, led by BSO secretary-general Mohinuddin Baloch, were holding placards inscribed with slogans against the construction of Gwadar port and establishment of cantonments.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Mohinuddin and Javed Baloch of the BNP (Mengal) criticized the government for allegedly victimising the nationalists. They claimed that the development projects being undertaken by the federal government in the province were aimed at protecting the interests of Punjab.
