About 600 experts, including health ministers of the four provinces and Azad Kashmir, doctors, pharmacists, drug manufacturers and health officials will participate in the conference.

Health Minister Mohammad Nasir Khan said the conference aimed at creating awareness of government's policies to achieve the target. Besides, he added, the conference would initiate a broad-based dialogue among the stakeholders for identifying issues faced by the health sector and their solutions.

The minister said the conference would secure support for improved investment in the health sector as part of the overall socio-economic development in the country. -APP
