ISLAMABAD Aug 1: President Jamiat Ulema-i-Pakistan (Nifaz-i- Shariat) Engineer Salimullah Khan has accused President General Musharraf of delaying a categorical statement on not sending troops to Iraq that led to the murder of two Pakistani workers.

Speaking at a news conference here on Sunday, the JUP(NS) leader said he had doubts that General Musharraf was supporting the US policies. He criticized the general's attitude towards the kidnapping of Pakistani nationals and their subsequent execution.

On the contrary, he said a woman president of the Philippines, Gloria Arroyo, rose to the occasion and saved her country's national by calling back troops from Iraq.
