ISLAMABAD, Oct 27: The federal minister for finance, Shaukat Aziz will pay a four-day visit to Japan from Oct 31 as special envoy of president Gen Pervez Musharraf.

According to official sources the proposed visit is the result of the telephonic conversation between prime minister Koizumi and president Musharraf on Oct 17. The finance minister is also expected to carry a letter from the president to prime minister Koizumi, and to engage in an exchange of views with the Japanese PM and other important personalities in Japan.—PPI
